Dam to the Bay Trip on the Panhandle's Ochlockonee

Date/Time
3/14/2015 - 3/20/2015
Check in: 1-5PM on March 14
Event Description
From March 14-20, explore the Panhandle’s Ochlockonee River, which winds through state and national forest lands on 76 miles of Florida’s most remote wilderness river trail.  In addition to paddling through the unspoiled beauty of this region, you’ll be treated to local tastes like wild Tupelo honey and fresh Gulf oysters.  (Not on the same plate. :)

Paddle Florida arranges all camping sites to highlight nature's best shoreline views.  Three meals are provided daily.  Your camping gear is transported for you, so there's no need to weigh down canoes/kayaks with tents and other gear.  Vehicle and boat shuttles are available.  Evening entertainment is provided, featuring regional musicians and educational presentations on local water issues, flora, and fauna.

If you can't get away for the whole trip, you can choose the Paddle Florida Lite option for a shorter segment of 4 days or less.
